Yes, we can insert any file with menue or with Insert key (just making screenreader to pass key through and pressing Ins). But when constructing the drum treck for instance it's more preferable to listen to the loops before inserting them into project. So here the Media Explorer is the right thing.
Long time it was accessible. we had button for moving between levels and screenreaders saw the file lists in each folder. so we've heard each loop moving along list with arrow keys and could insert files pressing Enter. And we have options for playing back files in Media Explorer.
I used Superior II and addictive drums libraries with help of Media Explorer and didn't need their own browsers.
But Reaper goes forward and twice this summer the situation with Media Explorer became dangerous. Once they corrected it themselves and now, seems, it's Ivan's turn to take part in making Media Explorer accessible again.
