[RWP] Editing revisited

  Or, you could simply set your time selections on a track, press 
control+shift+S, I believe, to split the track into items by time 
selection, set a marker at the start of the time selection, delete the 
item containing your time selection, select all other items after that 
one and cut and paste them to the marker position.
