[RWP] Accessing some stuff with nvda

If you're using a newer beta/RC of NVDA, then, in Voice Preferences, where you select a voice variant for ESpeak, select one of the "Klat" variants. That has a tambour closer to Eloquence or DECtalk. At least, for me, with one of the Klat variants, I can't hear that frustrating flanging/buzzing of ESpeak as well.

Sorry guys, I have been off list for a couple weeks.
God bless NVDA, if you can stand the speech. Personally, I have troubel understanding it, so I'm stuck.
Anyway, if object navigation is working in the effects window, there is no reason we can't teach jaws to do that, and add it to the access scripts.
Personally, I have not had enough time to learn reaper well enough to know much about what I'm doing. I wanted to customize those scripts a little more. But, the day job has been taking all my energy. So, I haven't made any significant progress on any kind of general, comprehensive treatment of the subject.
But, I think I have enough brain power left to cook up a couple object navigation scenaria, if that will help.
First, let me show exactly how ignorant I truly am by asking. How do I get to the effects window?

Have you tried using Object Navigation? For example, to focus on the menu bar in the effects window, press the following:
	Insert+numpad 8, insert+numpad 8, insert+numpad 4, insert+numpad 2.
You can then route the mouse to that item by pressing insert+numpad /, then numpad / to left-click it and open the menu.

	Previously, Gordon Kent said:

Ok, I know that NVDA is becoming a more viable alternative to Jaws, but in reaper there are several situations where it is necessary to bring focus to a window by clicking in an area with the mouse. For instance, how do we access the menu bar in the effects window? How do we get the control surfaces properties to open up? These are just a couple examples of this sort of thing.
		Thanks
		Gord
