If the bridge could get plugins to return a valid range, we'll say, of a
frequency sweep, then the real world value could be calculated.
Lets see we have a frequency range which sweeps from 0 to 200 hz.
Well, we'd know that every percent moved of the slider would move the
frequency 2 hz. Its like setting proportions in algebra class, anyone
remember those?
Next, there are some plugins which have buttons or check boxes.
These can ge changed by moving the slider from 0 to 100%.
In the case of tape stop, you have to move the slider from 0 to 100% and
back to 0 before the material starts to spin up before playing.
So, if a plugin wants a number of either 0 or 1, we could skip the edit and
slider field all together, and use a checkbox.
Anyone following me here, or am I just completely off in left field
