[RWP] Editing only the selected track

that part is unknown to me.  I've had to manually cut items away, paste them 
in another scratch project, move the item before the cut opporation to where 
it needed to be on the timeline, then paste the moved items back where they 
belong in the original project. Tiring and convoluted.
