[RWP] Reaper Access for the Mac?

Hi Jes,

Apple aren't the tree you need to be barking up on this occasion. As
things stand, there are 3 potential solutions:

1. Cockos providing native accessibility through the use of Apple's
APIs. Depending on the language they've written Reaper in and whether
the Windows and Mac code bases are separately maintained, this might
be vaguely realistic or an absolute beast of a task, it's hard to
guess. Either way, Cockos would be the people to contact about it,
probably through the Reaper forums, but I can't see this happening
over night.

2. ReaAccess somehow hooks into Apple's APIs, with a separate keymap
and installer for Mac OS obviously. Given that there is only one
developer for ReaAccess and he doesn't own a Mac to test on, nor has
he ever used one, it's not likely.

3. Someone with more knowledge than me investigates and starts a
project from the ground up that follows along similar lines to
ReaAccess functionality with the specific purpose of supporting VO. I
say from the ground up because going on the current history, the
ReaAccess developer isn't likely to share his code with such an effort
if it were to be started.

That's the situation so far as I can tell. For what it's worth, I'm
also an Apple fanboy, and would love to see this happen. Can anyone
put a more positive spin on this or think of an avenue I've missed?
