[RWP] Some quick reaper questions

Also keep in mind, however, that Reaper's bundled plug-ins, especially the ones in the JS section, are very powerful.

> Yes.  Use either scrubbing, or one of the other methods mentioned above to find the position on a track where you want to start/end a time selection, and simply press control+alt+left bracket [ to set the start marker, or control+alt+right bracket ] to set the end marker.  You can then delete the time selection with the delete key, loop it by pressing control+R to activate repeat mode, etc.  Alternatively, if trimming silence from an audio file, find the start of the audio, i.e. where you want to trim up to, then hit S to split the silence onto another item on the same track.  Then, press control+left arrow to find Item 1, the item containing the silence to be trimmed, press delete, control+right arrow to the item containing the audio, and cut it to the start of the track with control+X, home, then control+V.
