[RWP] MIDI keyboards and Reaper

Someone here asked about freeware synths, and last night I tried the
absolutely wonderful classic SuperWave VST for the first time in Reaper.
Just google SuperWave P-8 and you'll find it, there are hundreds of extra
patches on KVR, and it's still totally free.
All its presets are exposed in the plug's VST interface by Reaper.
They didn't show up until I sent program change messages from my midi
keyboard, then a name of one of the presets replaced the word Default just
below the word Preset at the number Pad.
When I left clicked that preset name I got a list of all of Superwave's
presets at the arrow keys, so I could just scroll down to play each one.
Not every synth is exposing its presets that easily in Reaper.
Using the plug's interface I've had difficulty getting some, like
Hypersonic, to show their presets, while in Sonar 8.5.3 Hypersonic's presets
showed up with a little bit of clicking around in synthrack view.
Today I'll go back and try some of the uncooperative VST plugs using
Reaper's generic interface, and try to find workArounds to get their presets
, plus synth parameters, to display.
