[RWP] Beginner Reaper questions

[Monkey Pusher]

its off by defualt and when i change it from off to 1 track and all
tracks the cust selected items   option under the edit menu then cuts
the clips and the  time  so it doesn't  leave the gap of time where
the audio i just cut was  .. and its  still selecting all tracks .
when its set to off using the cut all selected items cuts everything
from all tracks leaving just the space where the audio used to be.
