[RWP] Beginner Reaper questions

Hi Jayson,

1. RPP files are quite comprehensive if you want to take a look at one
in Notepad or some similar text editor. I have to confess though that
I don't see the advantage of packing projects up into one file even if
the functionality is possible to implement. When you start a new
project you can choose where recordings specific to that project are
kept. I usually have a folder for the project, the associated RPP's
clearly named in there, and audio files tucked away in a subfolder.
That way, I've got everyday access through explorer to every file in
the project if I need it, and it's still tidy.

2. There's not a way of doing this with ReaAccess that I know of.
Perhaps look in Options -> Metronome and prerole settings (or
Alt+Shift+M), and try setting up a a 1 bar prerole or count in,
probably the latter would be more appropriate for tracking from the
very beginning of the timeline.

3. Weird, I've run it about 10000 times on this computer and haven't
noticed my Menu options being altered. Is this a Windows thing rather
than a feature of Reaper perhaps?

4. Does your TranzPort show up at all under Preferences -> Control Surfaces yet?
