FYI, It's possible to build a Reaper plugin using the free Windows SDK, 
which includes the Visual C++ toolchain (compiler, linker, etc.). If you 
do this, you can do it all from the command line, rather than a 
graphical IDE. I successfully built a plugin this way when I started 
writing a Reaper accessibility plugin before i discovered ReaAccess.
