You need to switch to the event list view, which is accessible. I forget 
the shortcut key, but you'll find it under the view menu. Note that you 
may need to double click events to edit them; if I remember correctly, 
pressing enter didn't work for me. There may also be another shortcut 
key i haven't discovered yet, as I'm new to Reaper.
