[RWP] Introduction and question

As a JSonar user and not a caketalking  user I must say JSonar has
excelent scrubbing support and i have been able to make the kind of
precise edits that i got used to doing in sound forge and the like.
Haven't messed with that in reaper yet so can't compare. Never used
caketalking as i could never afford it and being that i was using
sonar since version 1 with a screen magnifier  when my sight got to
the point where i couldn't see well enough to use a screen magnifier
anymore  JSonar just made more  sense as i wouldn't have to learn a
new interface and commands for stuff i already knew how to do inside
out. While i don't have that issue of having to press S twice to solo
and unsolo a track  there is still that slight delay in moving up and
down from  track to track that the lightweight of Reaper  really
shines on as its not there.  the Thumb drive and other options make it
great as well. Though i doubt it will become as big as ProTools and
Sonar especially if  kockos keep charging so little for it under its
generous licensing terms, And the fact that it can't be bought at
retail like the others, no one will take it seriously. But it will be
the dirty little secret that we all can actually afford So here's to
the progression.
