I guess I am just a bit parcil to Sonar because its been good to me and my bank account for over 8 years. lol. I have been using Cakewalk and Sonar since version 6 of Cakewalk. that's back in the mid 90, so I guess I am just a bit attached. lol
Reaper is a different approach to old things, and I like the change. How ever, Sonar and Sound Forge are my staple tools here in the studio. I am welcoming Reaper in with open arms though. the fact that I have the DAW and a screen reader on the same thumb drive is quite the pleasant thing to think about when I am out with my laptop and a key chain full of thumb drives. I hope to see reaper grow to be just as big and powerful as Sonar, Pro Tools, Logic, Q Base and all the rest of the DAWS.
Lets help it to get there. We have a voice, and if we use it, we could push this thing to the top.
Now that I have turned this message in to a pep talk... I am out. Time to snuggle up and dream of Pro Tools. lol

Reaper simply doesn't I've never been able to do the kind of precise editing in sonar that I can in reaper, or even GoldWave or ssound forge.
