[RWP] Ivan comes back

Well, this is a nice surprise!
My first suggestion would be for Ivan to download Reaper 3.6 and check
out the MSAA support that has been implimented by the developers. It's
quite thorough in the track window, and it might change his approach
somehow. In particular, if he can figure out a way to easily read the
peak meter values that now get exposed with a keystroke, it'd be a
happy happy day here.
Timebase needs to switch consistently across as many features as
possible, so when project timebase is switched to minutes:seconds
perhaps Ctrl+PgDn and Ctrl+Shift+PgDn should change to moving in time
incraments rather than still being tied to the tempo in BPM.
As Roy says, any improved access to sends and receives he can
implement would be cool.
If Ivan still has plans for improving access to plugins consistently
across all screen readers, now would be a good time to work on that I
think. Having seen the plugins window in the new Pro Tools 8.0.4
release, we have quite a gap to fill here.
Oh, and the Readme information urgently needs to be updated to include
System Access support. Our buddies at Serotek were the first people
that managed to strike up meaningful dialog with the Reaper
developers, and using SA with Reaper is consistently a good
experience. I'd have done this months ago if I had access to the
installer script to generate a new one.
That's all that springs to mind at first, if anything else comes up
though I'll let you know, Mr Interpretter!
Cheers
Scott
