[RWP] More on track selection problem

Can you delete from a given point up to a mark? Do you still have to split
the track as in when you are deleting an item? My only problem with deleting
items is that if you are in the middle of the track and there are several
items, it's sometimes hard to know which one to cut, or at least I haven't
quite gotten there yet.
