thank you for your response.
is there a tutorial that gets me started on the intruductory concepts here? i'd relly like to grow into reaper, i like that it has lots of stuff and i do want to use them.
and how to play with the built-in instruments too?
just something to get me going.

i used to make commercials with goldwave and want to use more features and want to multi-trak edit.
kinda like training-wheels on a new bike, from a trike to a real bike
if you know what i mean.

  First of all, Reaper is not like GoldWave in the slightest.  It is a multi-track MIDI and audio editor with some quite advanced features.  If all you want is a single-track audio editor, then Reaper probably isn't for you.  Secondly, ReaAccess is an accessibility plug-in which uses the JAWS API to report information directly to JAWS.  So no, you do not need JAWS scripts; ReaAccess takes the place of scripts.  That's not to say, however, that other scripts, developed by list members cannot be installed over the top of ReaAccess.
