Hi:
I'm attempting to set ReaComp up as a side-chaining compressor. I've
done the following, but am missing something really obvious:
Put ReaComp on the intended track, settin that track to four channels.
Selected a preset in ReaComp, then changed the main detector input from
main l/r to aux o/r.
Went to another track's routing grid, sent it to the original track with
ReaComp on it, selected "send to channel 3." Not much happened
I know how side-chaining works, as I've done it with hardware many
times, and I've found tutorials online that confirm I've done mostly
everything right, except for something, obviously, because it doesn't work.
In the video tutorial I found, the guy said something about sending to
audio 3/4 instead of 1/2, which makes sense, but I didn't see anything
like that in the routing grid.
Anyone know what I'm missing?
