the focusrite DSP24 stuff has some HSC scripts done for them if you
are a jaws user and don't mind using HotSpotClicker. Also i believe
one of the tascam FW interface/ control surface has some
hotspotclicker scripts for them as well i want to say its the FW1884.
I was also able to make scripts myself for my Focusrite DSP26
interface that i currently use. As the previous person said though
you can do most if not all of this from with in the daw it self the
only time you need to really use the mixer software if is you want to
do some really tricky complicated direct monitoring set up for the
different musicians. the only thing i really use it for is to switch
sample rates for different projects but i do believe reaper has a
check box that forces the audio interface to sync to the sample rate
selected in reaper instead of being forced to set the sample rate in
the Audio interfaces control panel. Anyone who uses reaper more than i
now can vouch for this?
