[RWP] Some keymap considerations

Hey folks,

Last night, I used Reaper to put down some scratch tracks during a
rehearsal of an artist I'm producing. I noticed that when I was
working quickly under pressure, the current system of tying muting
soloing arming and I/O all to the F9 key with modifiers wasn't working
efficiently for me. This was partly because on a laptop keyboard you
rarely find the top row of function keys arranged in groups of 4 as
you do on full size keyboards so the F9 was hard to locate quickly,
and also partly due to the fact that for some reason my tiny brain
kept mixing up the modifiers.

I stuck with it for the first hour and assumed that practice would
make perfect, but I didn't notice much of an improvement. As a test,
I remapped these functions to F9 through to F12, and instantly felt
more productive.

What I want to know is, does anybody else think that a slight
modification to the ReaAccess keymap along these lines would be a
smart move? Of course if it's only my mind that struggles with the
current system, I'll stick to manually remapping my keys, but thought
I'd get your oppinions.

Cheers
Scott
