There is another SF VSTI player which is rather accessible:

You can download the VST version only, it is free.
As far as i can remember you asked about Media items in Reaper.
We move between them with Ctrl + left/right arrows. Jaws anounses the item you've arrived. Selecting the item you just press Aplications key for menue of this item. Please, look at this menue and you'll find everything you need.
