[RWP] Cut and Copy

Greetings all!

I am a new user to reaper.  I have always been interested in accessing a multi track software, and I think this is the absolute best.

I am having a few challenges though, and wonder if anyone can lend some assistance.

I am a user of GoldWave, and have developed quite a level of proficiency in its use.  However, with GoldWave, the ability to mark and cut, and copy and paste is relatively simple.  With reaper though, I am having some real problems. I cannot perform these same functions consistently in Reaper as I do in GoldWave!

If I might obtain the step by step procedure to 

1.        Marking the beginning

2.       Marking the end

3.       Copy or cut marked area

4.       Ability to paste the area to a specific point within the track

5.       Ability to mark a number of tracks, within a number of measures, and do a combined action like copying or effecting whatever processing that you have access to.

These are just a few questions that I have.  Other than that, Reaper with Reaaccess is a wicked program!
