[RWP] Recommendations on a USB sound device with asio?

You may need to record 16 tracks... in total, or all at once, as in 16 
live inputs each going into it's own track in realtime? If so, your 
Mackie 1202 VLZ shouldn't even be part of the equation, since you'll 
need more live inputs than your board has. I'm assuming that's not what 
you meant, though.

The E-Mu has balanced TRS inputs and outputs, so yes, good Mackie times 
for you.

Yes, it will work with Mac Core Audio, as will most things, but Reaper 
accessibility on Mac is pretty well non-existent.
