[RWP] Recommendations on a USB sound device with asio?

I may need to record as many as 16 tracks.
The Emu 0404 looks good, though, especially since it has drivers for the built in Mac hardware. It'll be nice if it connects with my Mackie 1202 VLZ.

The advantage to this is you also get an optional control surface, if you want to map things from your keyboard, such as knobs and sliders to control tracks and effect parameters, and the keyboard's transport controls to operate the DAW. Admittedly, this m-lan integration was designed by Yamaha specifically to be used with Cubase, but the basics can work with just about anything with any kind of control surface support with enough time and effort.
