LOL guess I missed that in the documentation. I thought words can
go any direction so long as they aren't diagonal. Thanks for
clarifying!

Hi Ryan,

Sorry for my delayed reply. I'll give an example. I tried
putting in the word "mute" once, and the game said "etum" is
not a word.

Technically this can happen with any word the game gets
backwards. Maybe there's a specific direction the game checks
words?

My suggestion, to prevent this happening in the future, if it
keeps happening, would maybe be to add a suggestion for
marking the start of words. There could be a checkbox or
something for me to tell the game, Hey this is the 1st letter.

Just my thoughts. I don't do sound design, or I'd help with
those too.

How about adding in the Rummy background music for Scrabble
too? That track is several minutes long LOL.

Hi!

There might still be enough time to fix Scrabble before
the 20th of this
month, which is RS Games' 11th anniversary.

Here's the 3 biggest bugs I notice.

1: No way to mark the start of words, so the game keeps
getting words
backwards... This is a show-stopper, really bugs me when
I get a good
word and can't use it.

2: No background music, so the client keeps throwing
errors. I'd think
you'd be able to use the background music from other
games, maybe Rummy,
as that track's pretty long.

3: When I activate the report option at the end of the
game main menu,
and I cancel, the client freezes after I cancel my
report filing.
There's no way to get back in except to close the client
and start over.

Good luck with game development. I really wouldn't like
to see no games
released this year, especially with the pandemic people
are probably
bored out of their minds, LOL.
