I linger over dinner--<br>
Spaghetti and Meat Balls--<br>
alone as evening eases in.<br>

I don't know the person playing<br>
smooth jazz on the sax somewhere outside my quiet world,<br>
but my heart rests in the sultry sound<br>
making my ordinary life routine magic.<br>
