face="Times New Roman">Thus I skittered out tiny, tentative lines</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">who went where they were willing to go,</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">rather than showing in one smooth flow.</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">I believe the words sketch and statistics</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">are intimately, strangely related.</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">With many baby stitches I can choose</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">which ones collectively happen to trend</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">towards my wayward capricious intent.</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">My poems and tales are winding trails,</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">carried on the back of tenuous faith</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">that all will rise to a meaningful form</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">in its journey through inscrutable time.</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">These tales don’t entirely write themselves,</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">but then again aren’t totally by me.</FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">It’s all for the best that things work this
