face="Times New Roman">I’ve got two things to consider. They both involve
replacements for Marilyn; though we know there is no one that can really replace

face="Times New Roman">One issue is commitment time. In my experience, people
are interested in joining groups dedicated to things that parallel their
interests, but are reluctant to commit to open ended time. So I propose that new
members commit to 3 monthly sessions. After that they can elect to continue for
another 3 session period, etc.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>What
usually happens, in that kind of set up is that eventually members forget about
renewing commitments and just continue until they need to move on.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’m in contact with a prospective member
now. She didn’t want to commit to an on-going group, but when I suggested a 3
session commitment she wanted to join up.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">

member. She cannot attend on Wednesdays. Tuesdays are good for her.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Tuesday is when group 2 meets, but there
are lots of Tuesdays in a month.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>If
one of our present members does not want to make that change, I’ll continue to
hunt for other prospects.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
