I'm not sure where you got confused.
I was trying to make a MIDI file based on listening to the MP3 file,
but there are so many chords blended together that it's hard to tell
what's really going on. That's why I'm trying to find the origin of
this piece so I can download sheet music for it.
That is indeed the file I used. I hope it works.
Which MIDI file did you use? If you used the one that I
attached, then that was the MIDI file that I made, so it
wouldn't be perfect in any way. Actually, I did it in F-major
because it's more emotionally appealing to me than F#-major.
I'd like to find an arrangement that is a lot like this, or
learn where this piece originally came from.
Try this. I did a fast and dirty midi to braille conversion
and I'm attaching the resultant braille file, which you can
emboss or read on a display. I'm not sure how you will like
it. I have not proofed this file in any way.
The midi file seems a bit off--there are some jumpy parts. In
addition, this file is in F major, whereas the original
vocalwriter performance is in F-sharp, if you care about that.
Let me know if I can help further.
all,
I'm not sure how many on here are Barbershop music fans.
I recently started learning about the style two years ago,
and I often take the music apart to see how the voices
harmonise.
In this case, there's a really great song which has become
my favourite. It is on the dectalk archive, under the
artists Vocal Writer folder. The file is called Let It Snow.
From what I understand, both Flint Million and Hugh Emerson
made music with Vocal Writer. Flint did a lot of the modern
stuff while Hugh did the choral part. So I'm wondering if he
might have made the Let It Snow file as well.
I am also wondering if there is any sheet music that I can
have made in Braille so I can read the notes as well. Here's
a MIDI file, made to the best of my ability. Also, there's a
YouTube video with the same arrangement, but with a slight
variation. <a moz-do-not-send="true"

If you can give me more information about this piece I'd be
very grateful. I'd like to have this done by Christmas, only
three months away.
Sincerely,
