<DIV><BR></DIV><FONT id=role_document color=#000000 size=4 face=Arial>
<DIV>See, I'm trying to get on the Ellen Show because I believe I have an idea
to make Dectalk really hot on a worldwide level. If the Enable Rehab
stuff sings, I can promote it if I get on the show. Sorry, but if it
can't sing, I won't ruin the reputation of MIT or Dennis Klatt by promoting
it, I just won't! But if it sings, it changes everything because it goes
with what Dennis wanted. He made it able to sing so people like me could
be a singer. I'm the most known, but a youtube search will bring up
other disabled singers, and all of them have Dennis Klatt to thank.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If I get on the Ellen show, I want to pitch an idea I have for a new
animation movie that uses actual speech engines for the voices. The
point of the movie is, every voice counts. For a disabled person who can
only talk or sing using synthetic voices, a movie like this could be life
changing. And people at MIT need to be rewarded for their fine
work.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I was almost aborted at birth. I had music in me that only came out
when I had Dectalk, the only speech engine that could sing. I'm not
alone. I wanted a singing SAPI, not for myself, but for the next
generation. I felt like I owe it to Dennis and still feel that
way. I would like my movie idea to get everyone messing around with
Dectalk, not just the blind or disabled. Because music units. And
I want to help that non-speaking kid fit in. If I can just get on the
Ellen Show, I think I can ignite a spark. If I do, and if this takes
off, you can bet other speech engines will be made to sing. That's how
you thank MIT, that's how you remember Dennis Klatt, and that's how you move
forward.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So again, this seriously sings?</DIV>

enforces <BR>filtering which would block any attempts to make it sing. I

the product. Don't <BR>care for 4.61 so unless they start using a different
version, I probably <BR>won't be buying.<BR>Jayson<BR><BR>----- Original
