[DECtalk] thinking of legal gray areas with licenses

I really don't know if I want to get into this discussion, especially because my knowledge of law is basically nonexistent and also because this is like the fifth time this comes up and we get nowhere, but I feel obligated to repeat what Jayson said. AI language models DO NOT always tell the truth. They are trained to sound correct, not to be correct. Supposedly extensive research means absolutely nothing if you've conducted it using a language model, even one that can look on the Internet. They hallucinate, a lot. ChatGPT confidently tells me that a Braille 'n Speak was made by Blazie Engineering, and goes on to just as confidently state that it had a refreshable Braille display. I enjoy playing with these models as much as anyone, but always, always fact-check if looking up actual information. And please do not say you've done extensive searches with a language model if you want to be taken half-seriously.
