[DECtalk] some questions

I agree with Alex that the UK english Dectalk sounds awful. I have SAPI5
British voices on my computer from Ivona and also a British voice from
Acapela for TextAloud. All of those voices sound British as they should, but
the UK Dectalk doesn't sound real. I know Dectalk is synthetic, but the
Dectalk's attempt at that accent I don't like at all.

I also found it odd that when Fonix gave Snoopi the speak window called
Dectalk 5.0 years ago, Fonix claimed it's a version that it isn't.
Strange...

Eek. Something worse than ENG FonixTalk? Wo.
I heard/messed with the other languages in Dectalk, and the UK one
especially seems to be terrible across the board. Like, just bad.

I find it interesting that we didn't see more languages until 4.61,
when there apparently was a huge internal change that made it sound
like a dehydrated frog. ;)

I guess there's no hope of a real 5.0 demo? It's something I'm curious
about, even though I've heard it's nothing special. It's that legacy
and collector in me that's wanting me to get it. Even a sample of it
saying something would be great!
