[DECtalk] Speak window versions

Hi,
I have noticed that a lot of people use older versions of the DECtalk speak window. I am currently using 4.6.1, but only because one phoneme doesn't work on 4.6.4. I know Snoopi Botten uses 4.4, and I found a thread on this list where someone mentioned that they use 4.3, so I assume others use these versions as well. Are there any important reasons for this I should know about?
