[DECtalk] Ten Thousand Reasons

I have an ECO by the Prentke Romich company which has Dectalk built in. My
problem is I had nerve damage so I can't type on it anymore. So I'm trying
to find another way to type. I don't know when that will be.

I have about 10 albums out right now and the one I'm working on will be
totally different. I am combining real recordings with karaoke and I'm
adding Dectalk to it. So it will have a different sound and I'm going to
combine songs on the album. The reason I'm doing this is my health is going
downhil. I don't expect to be alive much longer. So I am breaking all of the
copyright rules because I want to raise the bar for other disabled people. I
am hoping that if I show that Dectalk can really sing with people, maybe the
interest will come back. But even if it doesn't I feel like showing off.

I want to share something that I'm playing with. It will be the first song
on the album. It is far from done and I am having timing issues. But I want
to share it anyway because I think this is cool.

Hi,
Quick question: What kind of communication device are you using? How can you
programme DECtalk to sing with an AAC? I would rather use Vocaloid since
it's easier and you can use a MIDI roll, whereas DECtalk you have to write
everything down. Not to mention that Vocaloid for some reason sounds better.

Hi this is Snoopi. Blake is typing for me. I have a question for all of you.
I am working on another album. The name of it will be "Testify to Love." It
will be a mix of hymns and contemporary Christian songs. There is only one
song that I don't have done that I want to put on the album. My problem is I
can not use my communication device to program the song with Dectalk. If I
could, I would do the song in about 4 hours. I am able to type on my
computer but not very fast.

I want to do a song called "Ten Thousand Reasons." Would anyone be willing
to help me out? I know I am hard to understand but I can buy the sheet music
and tell someone how to program it over the phone. Or if someone just wants
to do it by ear or whatever, that would be fine. Most of the song is a
repeat. It would only take about 2 and a half hours to type over the phone.
The Dectalk file will be mixed with a karaoke track for the final product.
I'll mix it so don't worry about the mixing part.
