[DECtalk] getting the software dectalk run time for linux working with any linux screen reader

The short version is no, it's not going to happen.  TTSynth was basically a
prepackaged DECtalk for Linux but is now abandoned.  The Windows software
version will never work with Linux.  Since TTSynth is no longer supported
and was commercial, you aren't going to find it.  Even if you found it
illegally, it's precompiled so would probably not work with newer libraries.
 It suffers from the same issues as IBM Viavoice in that it only runs on
very old 32-bit libraries which are no longer supported.  Your only software
choices for Speakup are ESpeak and FLite.  Besides, all software synths
require a Speakup connector and I don't know if the ones for ViaVoice or
TTSynth are even still downloadable.
