[DECtalk] sapi ductal now available

Why would only English but not the other five voices work with sapi
5? I don't think this is the matter of five out of six of a
multilingual sapi synthesizer not working wiht sapi but of the other
languages having been removed. I know a lot of folks on here enjoy
making dectalk sing but while I enjoy the finished products of such
efforts, I have absolutely no ambition or time or use for this
functionality myself and do not see any use of typing text strings
into a speech window eihter. I wanted a tool not a toy and on that
they did not deliver according to my needs and understanding even
though Ms. Corine in her mail to me repeatedly stressed that their
primary purpose was to give people a product to use with access
technology. Apparenlty she or whoever employs her is not aware of
people using access technology outside the U.s. It is true that in
many countries, people cannot afford access technology but there are
a number of countries in which people do. So, yes, Virginia, there is
a non-English speaking world with blind folks and access tech outside
the united States. ;-p
