Hi.
Jason, good bit of info there, cause I hadn't thought of that. carlos,
as far as how you would obtain those. dectalk 4.40 did have an
access32 version. so it did come with it's own dll in the original
form, all be it not ni the same form that the demo dectalk 4.40
resides. if you call upon the dll files for version 4.41 I can't tell
you how that is done. how ever I have got to think they both use the
same dll. and actually jason, you mentioned 4.3 being a bit different
in that aspect. here's my thought, they had a software text editor
demo, which is what we use now, so that may be what the dll is bound
into. however, there is a big difference between the dectalk engine's
text editor demo and the actual software. I think if I understand
right the text editor demos don't have a calling dll file that is
something we can see, I think only the exe program can see the dll.
and also, interesting to note, but what version of dectalk softwarewise
comes close to what the weather radio sounds like in your opinions.
I've heard some interesting debate no that one, some saying version
4.5, some saying 4.6, or 4.51, what is your take on that. just a
thought. Brandon.
yall take it easy
take care

Brandon
