about late 90's. Force bought them in 2000. Fonix after that. GW Micro
helped patch up DeCTalk 4.61 and make it not suck. That was 4.62, and
was first seen in Window-Eyes 4.5. Consult Main Menu archives for
actual audio of Doug speaking on this.
