Hi,
Jason mentioned that after rests like [_<400>] for instance, the synth
still sings, but whispers. I've reproduced this, and amplified the
audio. It's just DECTalk saying shutdown over and over again in
different keys. The first one is sung fine, the rest is whispering.
I've also tried (with little success) to emulate a normal 4.x Paul
voice. Here's my attempt.
Fileupyours is back online, so these links work.

The singing links follow.
DECTalk 4.3 singing with pauses:

SAPI performing the same text with normalized whispering:

Text follows:
Voice modification

This is the default Paul DECTalk sappy voice. It has not been changed
using parameters yet. This voice is pretty strange and sounds like a
mix of Fonix Talk and DECTalk 4.61. Pretty bad! The next thing you
hear is a custom Paul voice that is slightly better sounding.

This is a new test of paul! Does this sound any better? Not much
improvement over the default, but still it's something. This got a bit
of that high frequency sound that 4.3 has in the voice. The consinents
still sound a bit sloppy, and has that Fonix Talk sound, but it's not
too bad, but nothing to the original.
