[DECtalk] Any news?

I hope Blake has done or will do it. I'm gonna get an earful for posting
on here, maybe even let go. Right now I could care less. I want to save
Dectalk, I'm just frustrated to no end.

i hope you can let them hear the converted product rather than the dectalk
that it was before now. that may explain why they tell you there's no
problem. It's because they aren't hearing it through the converted sapi5
dectalk and just the normal dectalk program. maybe hearing the converted file
will show them there is something wrong.

Oh, that would explain a lot! We tested this before it was converted to
SAPI and Kit was the only problem. Well, Wendy didn't whisper, but Kit was
the only pop feedback problem. After it became SAPI, well you all have
heard how bad it is.

The programmer says it's fine which I'll never understand.

So it's gotta be in the conversion. I think you guys are on to something.

Yes, you are right, and I thought of that too. I think they are using an
older version for voice data and mistakenly using a newer version to
synthesize it.
