So, can you guys figure out the correct parameters to  we can have this 
goofy programmer make the right changes?

I've had a thought. This is obvious, but for one thing,  some of the voices 
are clipping and making unwanted noises like parameters  are badly out of 
adjustment. Obviously, with any factory default voice,  this should *not* 
be 
happening. As far as I know, with Digital DECtalks  and probably with Force 
and Fonix versions as well, you can feed even  random keyboard mashing into 
it, synthesized with any factory default  voice, and it won't squawk or 
clip. 
Once you get into messing with the  voice parameters, then you're doing so 
at 
your own risk. So in this  respect alone, the new synth is *not* working 
properly, since some voices  are squawking/clipping which obviously is not 
part of the intended  design.
